    I dont think Gigabyte stated it was LOTES only, I think closest they have stated is "due the issues with the current foxconn sockets, we have changed it", and they have, not fully away from foxconn, but changed it.
    Yes,you are right.
    LOTES produce only bracket but no plastic socket with pins.This thing confuse some people.
    I contacted Lotes last month and they can only retail sell 100pcs and above.
    This price I get from them (1 set):
