I'm trying to get a stable 3.6ghz clock on my Q6600 and have been trying various CPU voltages to achieve this. Here are my results so far:
vCPU - Prime95 Result (Highest core temp at end of run)
1.3875 - Core 3 error after 1 minutes (n/a)
1.4000 - Core 3 error after 2 minutes (n/a)
1.4125 - Core 3 error after 6 minutes (n/a)
1.4250 - Core 3 error after 2 hours (65)
1.4375 - Core 3 error after 3 hours (71)
1.4750 - No errors 8 hours (77)
Does it seem possible that I would be able to get a Prime95 stable OC using a vCPU of 1.4250/1.4375 (bolded above) if I was to tweak some of my other BIOS settings from below?
