Unganged is just alot harder on the chip to do, most voltage increases are due to the memory controller anyway. Think about why you can't overclock in 1066 unganged mode but if you set it back to ganged it clocks like a dream. Then check the difference between overclocking in 1066 vs like 533. Should overclock slightly more because the memory controller has less to worry about. Same thing will happen with 2x512mb sticks instead of 2x1gb sticks because there is less memory to address.
hmm well i gave up on vista64 for now LOL

check this out. i can boot @ upto 3.1 stock volts but really needs 1.375v to be stable. now is it the 32bit XP Pro or is it that i only have 2x1gb stick in there ??? hmmm




maybe ill reload vista tomorrow with only 2 sticks and find out.
