Well it has been rumoured that the 1 GB 8800GT will come out in Dec. Then the GT will have no weakness (even tho benchs at insane res shows that it still beats the GTS and not that far from GTX...

I think Nvidia next high end will simply be a G92 (prob 2). BUT with a much better heat sink (dual slot) and a full 128(or more) shaders. The shader clock will prob be 2ghz, the ram 1.4 GDD4 and the clock say 800 with a good cooling design. Also the bus will be either 384 or 512. With the rumours and nvidia claiming that there is a lot of head room with the g92 it makes the most sense. For me tho for the price and performance nothing touches the 8800GT. I mean overclocked it is on par with an ultra and my native res doesn't really need more that 512mb. Even so, i can alway SLi these suckers for less than ONE GTX. Amazing. Haven't seen performance for the price like this since GF 4 ti. Now just to wait till the madness of initial release dies down, but the sparkle stock is selling for $319 AUD and the EVA KO for $360 hhm so tempting. I can't believe that a month ago i was going to spend $350 on a 320mb GTS.
