Uguru temp the last time was 53c and CoreTemp is always about 6-7 above that. PMW temps are wild on the new board as it is indeed in need of Ace's mod. I tried it without the mod to see what it did. But it never got a chance to get too hot before the shutdown. After going to 3.2 (400x8) I started Priming it and the PMW jumped to 102c after about 10 minutes. I decided to see what happened and I left it running to see when it would crap out. 7 hours later I shut down Prime and it was still at 102c with no errors. I wonder if we are being too conservative in what we consider too high for the PMW temps. I would love to be at home to test Tont's settings but it will be 10 days before I get back. I have also wondered if because mt Quad has such a low vid, 1.2125, that maybe I need to explore at much lower vcore than what most are using. I know high vcore does not work. I have tried it on 2 boards now and 3 different psu's, an OCZ Powerstream 520, a PCP&C 850, and now the Corsair 620 (didn't like the noise of the PCP&C).Originally Posted by BenchZowner
