As you all may or may not know, DFI's Rev. AD0 is the first revision in which there has been a major HW change. In past revisions, DFI claimed they were the exact same boards only shipping with different bioses. I just picked up a Rev. AD0 Ultra-D and there are obvious physical differences this time ......Here are a couple of pics comparing the older Rev. AA0 Ultra-D with the newer Rev. AD0. I'll run some comparison tests later:

Note the numbers in the first pic:

1. The value of this mosfet has changed
2. The orientation of this voltage regulator is changed (OPB reports that the measure points on this IC aren't the same as before)
3. The cap here has moved to a new spot

Also, the the Rev. AD0's seem to have changed/upgraded at least 50% of the capacitors located around the pci and memory slots. Initial reports have the Rev. AD0's outperforming all prior revisions. More to come........
