6-7-6 1600+ is a breeze, literally just primaries set and it works.

    As per charles new rule.

    ASUS M4A89GTD PRO
    ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3

Hmm, I'm still stickin' to the old and trusty D9GTR 940 7-6-6-18 1T combined with 4.4GHz NB on Thuban isn't too bad at all for a couple of years old IC's.

You will find IMC/NB scales further with less vdimm on thuban.

I've been playing with my 2 sets of GTR's at like 6-5-5 for some 32m and they aren't playing as nice as they did with deneb.

They are preety obsolete seeing as you can do 1900 6-6-6, 1000+ 7-7-6 and even 6-7-6 1000 now with certain modules at considerably less voltage and 4 gig density.

Interesting, thanks Chew. I was looking for a Elpida Hyper MHN-E, which are the only IC I would replace D9GTR's with. Too bad it's difficult to find 2x1 / 3x1GB nowadays.

TBH tibor I played with the 1 gig kits, I really saw no gains. You can safely get a 2x2 and 3x2g and max out cpu fine.

This flare stuff I would relegate to affordable and easier to OC alternative for 24/7 users but I doubt it will be setting any 32m records. It's extremely flexible however which could be really usefull for users with locked multi cpu's needing higher HT and not wanting to settle for a sub par ram clock with higher HT.
