Looking good, I really like the looks of the new AC block. I can't wait to see some test results.
Here is the wiring compliments of Shoggy.![]()

If it is anything like the Cuplex Di, this will be an addiction too! However, that blue top on the Cuplex is very sexy and I already miss it. Enjoy the Aquaero and the software.Looking good, I really like the looks of the new AC block. I can't wait to see some test results.

A surprising concept how you solved the colour shape at the midplate logo... Very very funny and unexpected.
But I have one request: could you please post a front picture of the installed quad feser radiator to see the distance to the casesites, would be nice if you also wrote down the mm/cm....(if possible)![]()
Kindly excuse this exceptional demand, but I am planing a complete new project at the moment... and I amwith myself for some fixes.

I was just wondering, how did you manage to solve your little problem with the bubbeling paint?
Had a similar issue some years ago where the paint previously applied, reacted with the paint I applied to the material. Gave this strange bubbeling effect.
What type of chemical cleaning were you using?
Nice build btw. Everything looks amazingly sleek.![]()

My plans were going well, painting miscellaneous parts, drilling, re-riveting, re-painting and the like. I was on schedule to eat a late lunch and begin sleeving, then the doorbell rang, my dogs went ballistic and so did my wife. We have a standing rule around here, don't call or stop by on Sunday especially during football season. There went my sleeving and my Zen moment! I did manage to get a couple of things done.
I mounted the Hammond boxes (thanks Charles) for the Feser.
You have to countersink (thanks BA) these holes from the bottom to get a nice flush fit.
They screw in from the bottom and then apply HD double sided tape.
This process took longer than expected, now I know what you mean BA. You get the mounting idea from this...
I drilled the rivets in the midplate and repainted it again! What a PITA!!
I am happy that I did and I also placed the grommets..Thanks again Charles.
Finally put the pieces in place.
The next time I do this and it will be soon. I will send this stuff out for powdercoating. I enjoy painting but this was a challenge.

Excellent progress. You did quite well for a football Sunday, and unexpected interruptions as well!
Looks awesome Rocky!
My one suggestion would be to remove the lids from the Hammond boxes - they're not needed. Removing them will give you a bit more clearance between the top of the rad and the underside of the midplate for cable management.
You're in the home stretch now!![]()

Let the sleeving begin! I had a couple of hours this afternoon so I decided it was time to begin my first sleeving attempt. Many thanks to Dangals for the outstanding tutorial on sleeving, a definite must read thread. Obviously, big kudos for Charles and Nils for the exceptional quality of the Psychopack
And thanks to the Academy...oops, sorry wrong speech.
Well I started and I must say this is totally addicting. Sleeving is the easy part pulling out the pesky plugsis the hard part. I will always sleeve from now on. The pictures do not do justice to the sleeving. I could have used a third and fourth hand for stretching it though but I am getting the hang of it.
I started with something easy.
The tip of an exacto knife works great for this.
Much better...
I did all wires individually but I decided to cover all of them with a larger piece of heat shrink for the industrial look.
It will look much better than this...
I only had time for one more so I did this for a challenge...
I used a cutting mat for ease of measurement, exacto knife, heat gun and an Olfa Rotary Cutter for the sleeving and the heat shrink. This is a great tool but it is extremely sharp. It will give you the finest cuts you can possibly get. It was designed to cut leather!
I found the heat gun at Hobby Lobby for $15.00 and it works great, my finger tips are burned!
Happy sleeving!

Excellent sleeving. Looking forward to seeing how you master the 24-pin connector, cause I'm sure you'll come up with a creative solution.
