A couple of things. As far as the 3DMark2K5 scores, I saw some posted at 1026x768 and some at 1280x1024. That will make a difference. Anyone heard if the aftermarket coolers such as the hr-03 and the VF1000 will fit this card? I am more interested in the VF1000 as it is a single slot solution and I want to get 2 of these to run sli.

Hmmm...
G92 > RV670 by 14-38%? Leadtek says it is... look at the bar graph?
Surely it's just propaganda, but funny nonetheless.

Lol, but *what* is being benchmarked? It can't be 3Dmark06 right? Doesn't G80 usually lose to R600s in 3Dmark06 usually?
The bottom one says Company of Heroes, the top one says Stalker. It's hard to make out but definitely those.
LMAO, marketing PR at it's best! That made my day and the classic "doesn't start at 0"-graphs even.
Wouldn't suprise me if this was where marketing is heading, soon we probably see FarCry3, Crysis2, Doom4 or whatever benchmarks all claiming the NVIDIA "how it's meant to be played" titles have boosted IQ and performance over ATI etc.

Yea that has to be the case, although I wonder where they got those "exact" numbers 14 - 38% from. I think I let the future benchmark reviews reveal that. However HD3870 will probably be a bit faster than 8800GT even, that's what I think at least but yea I don't think HD3850 will beat 8800GT either but that's just a pure guess looking and specs and all the info/rumors we have and looking back in history etc, things like that.
In the end it all depends on the AA performance of RV670 for me, same thing as R600, bummer. A new method that handles it more efficiently, would make me consider one.

another Leadtek 8800GT BOX But this one with no reference comparing with rv670 performance)
Yeah , HD3850 dont beat 800GT , for what I heard:
HD8350 with quad core @3.6ghz = ~11000 marks (catalyst 7.9)
8800GT with quad-core @ 3.6ghz = ~12300 /12500 marks
regards

Looks like another loss to nVidia for AMD.

NEW REVIEW!!!! http://www.bootdaily.com/index.php?o...=849&Itemid=51
World in Conflict is the game that keeps baffling me. The MSI OC GT in Tweaktown couldn't keep up with a stock 320mb GTS and in this review the stock GT it's faster than an OCed 640mb. Pretty weird stuff.
Lets wait for some more reputable sources to get some good reviewing down... too many sites forget to also list what settings they put the games on!
ive seen no rv670 reviews , this is all speculations?
I would like to see some 8800GT SLI benchmarks compared to single GTX
i7 920, EX58-UD5, 6GB Corsair 1600Mhz, 8344ELP + 4x146GB SAS, 2x640GB, 27" DELL, 4870, P182 liquid cooled, Antec Quattro 1kW, X-Fi Prelude + Z5500, Razer Mamba, G15
Looks like good stuff.
