Hello guys I received my board yesterday.
Too bad my D9GKX is being RMA'd and I have to use stock Intel heatsink.

A couple questions

1. What do you press for boot menu?
2. Did anyone else have problems with onboard LAN?
3. As far as lights on the bottom of the board is it normal for one to be lit?

How can I get my HR-05 SLI on this board?

There is enough room for the sli edition, interresting ! (no trouble with graphic card ?)

Can't you use the stock dfi fix ? Maybe you have to use this strap ( don't know the english word)http://www.radiospares.fr/cgi-bin/bv...eID=f1netscapeand make your own fix .

Nice O/C. I am around the 480-485 FSB area. My 6300 seems not be a good one , but 3400MHZ is not bad at all for a used 160$ chip. Its a hold over till cheap Quads come or 45nm. I really really like this board. Stable as a rock on stock bios. I have not had a single issue nor have I had to re-set the bios once. Even after O/Cing to far, some how I can still get it to boot, changes my settings and she is good to go again.

that's a lot better than a lot of new e6300's you'd get nowadays. have you tried dropping to 6x and seeing if you can scale fsb more?

1) Boot menu, you can press escape during the boot sequence to load up the device bootup menu. Or configure the boot order in the advance bios options page.

2) I have had no issues with onboard lan at all. WHat problems have you had?

3) The led at the bottom of the board is merely a power indicator, no problems...

Just installed mine...thank god no more p5b dlx!
i dont have any led on the board. Kinda strange but not a big deal. my board wouldn't post on dimms 1 and 3 but 2 and 4 seem to work just fine FYI.
Man I am overwhelmed by all the bios options.

I can't seem to get mine to post past 300fsb :\ I've tried so many different settings that it seems useless. I just can't seem to get a decent overclock at all.

Anyone else running 4x1gb ram? Also, what settings do you guys use in general for everything? And HDD port for SATA as well :o

I might but my D9 is not the best. Right now I am at about DDR 1000 which should allow me to keep sub timmings pretty tight. I am pushing 8500MB's in Sandra. Memtest shows almost 6000 for memory bandwidth

Nevermind I had 1394 disabled I though it was just to disable firewire but it seems it disabled the LAN.

Also when I first turn this board on after a while it goes on for a bit then shuts off. Then goes on again and boots. Just wondering!

And I tried 2gb, and sure enough it boots at 470x7 no problem. I'm selling this dumb board. A BIOSTAR can run my 4gb but DFI's board can't? nice.

there is already 2 beta bios out (402 and 411)


you cant run 4gbs?? hmmmmm i think my friend that also bought one DFI infinity is runing quad-core and 4Gbs (not 100% sure about the ram)
