    CPU-Z 1.39 is out

CPU-Z 1.39 is available. The news are :
    • Windows Vista 64 support.
    • VIA CX700/VX700 chipset.
    • Added Merom XE (X7900/X7800)
    • Added "PCI" and "MaxPCIBus" in the ini file to configure PCI scanning.
    • Added "-core" parameter to display the clock speed of the specified core.

    CPU-Z website
    Direct download link

Vcore still bugged and command rate memory timing might not show the right value. It shows 1T on Intel D946GZISSL mobo

it's gotta scan all the buses to find your chipset and gather the information it needs

Still not reading voltage correctly, but that was listed in the release notes.
It's showing my processor at 6 multiplier, then shifts to showing the correct 8 multiplier, then back again, every few seconds. I don't remember the previous CPU-z doing that, but there's nothing in the release notes that I saw for that. (E6400 L626A btw)

Do you have an DFI nF4 board. It's typical for those series to "slow down" CPUZ. Don't worry - it's normal.

Its typical for any board I've run that it takes time to open CPU-Z up. Intel, ATI, nVidia, VIA, they all do it. Its the program getting information from the chipset and takes a little bit nothing to worry about.

IIRC it's the time that it's getting the memory's SPD info.

The old version did not show correct values when C1E enabled.

EIST changes muli when idle, but so does C1E.

I know that was my issue. Once C1E and EIST is disabled it always shows the full multi.

Because it is K10 CPU?? As far as I know CPU-Z doesn't recognize K10 family. No sufficient data from AMD was provided to our friend from France
As to grayed 'L3 Cache' field here is explanation:

    Hey guys,
cpuz does not even look for a L3 cache on K8, so, there are very very little chance it displays one, unless the prog is tweaked / debugged / photoshoped.
    So, all are fakes.
