    Chilly1 cooler, gr8 stuff

    Installed this baby over the weekend. More then 60 degrees temperature difference compared to my watercooling setup.

    HS on, and ambient temperature was about 22 degrees Celsius

    FYI, this unit has been built using Chilly1 parts. The actual build has been done by someone else here where I live (UK)

    Nice. I love my Chilly1 setup and I'm sure most others that have one love it too.

    What kind of temps at the evaporator are you seeing? I see -20 per the motherboard.

    No idea since I have no measurement instruments for measuring from within the evap. The -21 that you are seeing is probably the cpu temp.
    I cannot read unloaded temps in windows or in the bios either, anything below -22 degrees results in -122 degrees, pos motherboard sensor

    Update:The Evap temps are -56 ish no Load and -45 with 150 watt load tester.

    i second that, i wouldnt bother taking mine off, 4 bolts lets ya really clamp that cpu down. 4.6Ghz at such low vcore, that cpu should do 5ghz plus load with higher vcore. try 1.6-1,7vcore and see how that goes

    I have removed an IHS twice now (both AMD's) and always ended up with super high temps. I dont mind ripping it off but I know there's two physical cores under there. I am convinced it would be very difficult to get a good contact on both cores. Not to mention the risk of crushing them

    It came to my attention that my compressor gets really hot. Not really sure how hot but I can definately not touch it for long with my fingers. Is it normal for a compressor to get this hot?
