Yet it's still faster than my $600 cpu/mobo = priceless!

That beats the hell out of my $4000.00 DX3600 setup w/ a 7800GTX![]()

Hey charlie, what are the stock clocks on the X1900GT? And we'll want to know what it clocks to.
Sounds like you've got a real best bang for your buck system going there, i might have to built one of those for a friend this summer.
Intel Rig
2500K @ 4.8 Ghz 1.304v | ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3| 2x4Gb Ripjaws DDR3-2133 | Radeon 7970 @ 1250/1800 | Corsair HX850 PSU
Custom Water of course
yep, try run 3dmark 2006 , its more VGA bench than CPU .

With the good price of the Pentium D 805, I'd still rather pay more for the Opteron 165. Even at 4 GHz, it doesn't match a 2.5 GHz Opteron. There's also the heat and power factor.
The X1900 GT will be good if it's flashable.
Wait for Celeron M430 core solo..msrp $138 and with good cooling push it to 100% oc....Mobo is $300 though![]()
what memory is supposed to be on them. for the first time in the past well, 4 years i haven't bought the latest kit, i still have a 4400+ x2, 2 gig crucial rig , briefly paired up with a x1800xt but now on a x800gto. uni called, didn't think letter the card depreciate while i couldn't play was a good idea. not sure if i should get a x1900xt or a gt, same memory just lower clocked? or weaker memory that will never make it that high?

yeah, genius... (durok) this mobo is crap for OC, the memory runs at 5-4-4 at 266, single channel memory and scores EXTREMELY poorly in CPU benches, we're talking 46s superPi 1M.Originally Posted by TaPaKaH

BTW, runs 575/600 default... I ran her up to 700/700 with no problems... didn't try higher, kept shutting my PSU down...
sorry but how many pipes does the x1900gt have? Is it 36 or 48? 700/700 isn't half bad, is that with or without software voltage adjusments?
