    Can anybody confirm if the Thermalright HR-09 MOSFET heatsinks fit on the P6T Deluxe? DangerDen is making a new top for my P6T Deluxe for my MPC-X38 so I can use it on the NB, and I will have an Enzotech C1B-S1L on the SB. But unfortunately, the stock MOSFET coolers are part of the stock NB and SB cooler, so if you take those off, the MOSFET cooling goes as well. This is unlike the Rampage Formula, where the MOSFET heatsinks are not attached to the NB and SB.

    They might not fit, as the 2 MOSFET heatsink slots are not the same size.

    EK made a set of waterblock for the P6T, and they have different lengths;

    Hey, is anybody able to accurately measure the distance between the mounting holes for each set of MOSFETs?

    I would like to know whether or not anyone has tested the P6T to see if it does Vista sleep mode properly, and the results of those tests. With the giga x58 mobo, sleep mode works if and only if hyperthreading is enabled. If HT is disabled, system goes into sleep mode, but hangs with blank screen upon resume. Make sure that 'suspend type' is set to S3 in BIOS and test sleep mode with HT both enabled and disabled.

    I have never had a mobo that woke from sleep properly when overclocked.

    I'd like to forewarn everyone about a boot up/POST issue with the P6T Deluxe.

    Here is my thread that no one has posted in

    as it is only the northbridge that seems to get really hot, i was thinking of just removing that black heatspreader and putting a water block on that (obviously remove the whole heatsink assembly, clean and reapply some good thermal paste). Trouble is, i am not sure how effective it would be given there is about 5mm of copper between the water block and the NB chip. Any ideas ?

    Since vista came out in Jan.2007, I've tested SM in eleven different mobos and they have all done SM properly OCed or not. And the giga does SM properly if and only if HT is enabled. I have no reason to believe that the
    P6T is flawed and will not do SM if hyperthreading is disabled, but I would like to know for sure before I swap my giga for the P6T.

    What kind of RAM are ppl running on this board? Corsair seems to be good but I hear others are having issues with other brands. Of course, Asus has no official RAM compatibility list (unless I missed it).

    The Qualified Vendor List(compatible memory list) is in the manual. I personally have never bought memory on a QVL and never had an issue. This is the fisrt board I have ever bought where is may be an issue.

    I checked the manual online...nothing. They have a link to the QVL but when you click it, it brings up a list of all downloads associated with the board and the QVL is not among them. They had one for the WS version...I guess they are the same but who knows. On their forum people were complaining that the QVL is taken from an older board and is not accurate.

    I have run both Patriot 1600 cas9 as well as Corsair Dominator 1600 cas 8 haven't had any problems whatsoever actually the Corsair is just sick memory and they can run almost anything you throw at it.. Also I don't niotice the NB getting hot at all but it is winter so my room is always cold..

    Has anyone actually tried the new bios 112 or whatever and can anyone here get 4.0Ghz stable on their 920 I can run 3.985 for days but I BSOD or freeze at 211Bclk I really want to get 4.0 but I'm stuck at 210 on bios 804???

    3x2GB Micron here. The simple, cheap kind without heat spreaders. Works just fine but whether or not they'll clock well remains to be seen.. TRUE bracket arrives today.
