I guess that the card plus that huge block will be quite heavy for the pci of the mobo.My pci holder hardly keeps my 5970 with the ek nickel wb and backplate.

Somebody just popped in the Koolance 6990 block thread that is it possible to align the 6990 and 6970 blocks together?

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...08&postcount=7

Now I'd pose the same question for the EK blocks. Judging from pics the connectros shouldn't be too far off on both the 6990 and the 6970 blocks....would be awesome to be able to run tri CF with an EK bridge connector....

It's kind a stupid to show those temps because we dont know what rad you're using, ambient temp, cpu and clocks.. etc. IMO

pcaddict: I've stated the water temperature and that's what most important here.

    Otherwise the loop consists of EK Supreme HF and EK-FC6990. The pump is D5 + X-TOP V2. CPU is Intel Core i7 @ 4083MHz, 1.42Vcore, 1.375Vtt, memory is 3x2GB DDR3 (Powerchip PSC) @ ~ 1785 6-9-7-24-1T.

@Lu(ky, RacingTurtle: Patience is a virtue Very soon, they're already in production!

From my understanding it prevents the card from twisting or bending from the stress of the waterblock on the other side...
