This was the most helpful post in this thread for me. I tried setting my ram on Mode 3 and sure enough, I'm priming away at 472x7 with all 4 sticks of ram. I once again cannot boot above 480 because my e6300 has a cap, so hopefully me getting a good e6600 or 6420 will take care of that
