Value SS - 1/2 HP, R507 and CPEV

    Hi

Some weeks ago Wampir (a guy from polish forum) ask me about a SS. He want to make it for nice performace and for a very nice price of complete unit
So let's go ...we end up with some used parts - used compressor Aspera NE2134E (1/2 HP, 12 ccm), used condensor ...and the rest of parts is brand new . As a expansion-valve I have used Fach CPEV. As budget was quite low we have no funds for stuff like eg. suction sleeve or low-side gauge ...but for trully bencher that's worthless

    Specs :

    Compressor: Aspera NE2134E (used)
evap: chilly1 patern (made in Poland )
    holddown: PCV 10mm
    XV: CPEV Fach "PZ"
condenser: 4 row, alu-cu (used), 4 pcs Delta 12V 80 mm fans (but quite silent )
    Refrigerant : R507
Case : Chipboard, painted yellow (special mix by piotres )
    others: SLHX

Unluckily I had lost most of pics from building of that unit (with HDD partition ) ...so I show only finished unit .

    Brothers

    Lowest reached temp

That's puted on mine A64 Venice with IHS @ 3220 Mhz and 1.82 V ...evap temp measured with K-probe is still -45*c to -40*c (depends of CPEV tunning and load of CPU) - I think that's OK like for value unit

    System running in idle with A64 3.22 Ghz/1.82 V

    Regards
    Peter

I love the way you make non metal cases look so attractive.
    Great job.
