    Exclamation Intel 955XE on Cascade

Intel P4 955XE ES Mirror finish
Chilly1 three stage on R1150 only, max temp -86c for the runs
Asus P5WD2-P vcore and droop modded
    Silverstone 650W PSU
    ATI X1800XT PE modded 750/810

I passed Kyosen on 2k1 to claim the #1 netburst spot and to bring another netburst to page 1. Very weak Lobby high on that run, should have been 275ish

    Decent 32M

Due to driver, 2K3 and 2K5 are both unpublishable

Not on this mobo. I picked up a new P5N32 since it had 8phase power and someone returned it and Fry's did not put a sticker on it. There was bent pins in the socket and it will be going back tomorrow.

System trip power at 6.3Ghz, I am sure the chip will go higher once I get colder. Just need to make sure leak is fixed and recharge with R116

    Great job!

I still think you should give 975x a go. Gave me about a 2-3% boost at the same card/cpu/ram clocks.

Sounds good that you believe the chip will go higher for sure! I wish you good luck with the clocks then.

I am stoked to see Intels Dual Cores finally doing nicely for overclocking.
these are even better then single core P4's from what I seen in the past... except for the usual Mhz records of course, but for day to day stuff, and suprisingly... in 3dmark too, these things look like they will finally put Intel back on the map, as far as 3dmark goes.

I really do have my fingers crossed on this one...I won't have the cash to build a new "all out" rig for awhile, so by the time I can, Yonah and AM2 should be widely available...and all this fancy new tech will be ripe for the pickin'.

Just wait and see when the 3 stage is properly gassed and temps are much lower, that chip isn't finished .

My body asks for some intel action... Tired of cold bugged chips @-30ΒΊ... Nice results... It's good to see @dual core beating an AMD single core WR... That will kill under LN2 and with no power issues! Won't it ?

Honestly, I think the mobo was limiting the chip in this case. My calculation turns (granted voltage reading on software read out was correct) this cpu at condition Fugger was running... VERY HIGH wattage output. I don't know too many mobo that can pass through 200W of electricity comfortably really as well as some boot issues relating to temperature...
Maybe 6.3-6.5ghz bench with daul core is not too far

I'm not even gonna ask "if", but when do you put it under LN2?

Nice job man - glad the benching worked out like we talked about. I would have liked to come but my flight out was about the time you all got started. Thanks for the invite...looking for more good things to come.
