    What IC?

What PCB? (looks like BP definately (and it would shock the hell outta me if Gskill deviated), but I can't see the markings, does the right side of the stick indicate?)

IMO Samsung UCCC, same as OCZ and Mushkin are using in there new sticks.

I've got alot of confidence in G.Skill, every set I've owned has performed very well so anxiously waiting for some results.

Am I out of the loop? I thought Mushkin was using Infineon for their 1gb sticks...

Hmm, I was thinkin about 2GB too, but then I realised that:
    * 1 GB is still enough for me
    * I wanted to buy it for games(BF2, HL2,...), but then I realised I didn't have a good graphx card to play the games @ high detail, and if I would buy one (7800GT(X)) I didn't had the money to buy a 2GB set, so my decision wasn't that hard.

Sorry, the sticks were @ home when I made the post so I didn't know the exact pcb. Well it looks as if I may have given everyone the "first look" at these sticks, but obviously a couple of people have beaten me to the punch in terms of testing. I'm planning on torturing my pair after I get up and running with my autocascade which arrives tomorrow.......

Well, after 2 weeks, I finally found some time to do some testing on this 2GB kit. I don't have much prior experience with 2x1gb sticks (in fact, I've never used a 1gb stick before I received these ) Needless to say, my introduction to 2x1gb DDR overclocking was relatively painless as this pair of G.Skill did almost everything I asked of it. If you're looking for screenshots of spi32m, you won't find any here (at least for now) since I didn't have the time or the patience to sit through multiple 20+ Minute tests. So on to some results!

    Here's where I started - 230Mhz CL2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.63Vdimm

    Spi1m

    Spi8m

The pair breezed through the two benches; no problems whatsoever. I know that the timings definately could be tightened up, but I figured that I'd just leave them alone and up the FSB.

    Here's 235Mhz cl2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.63Vdimm (I can't seem to find where I put the screenshot of 1m )

    Spi8m

Note that the only settings that had changed from 230 -> 235Mhz was the chipset voltage and Vcore (which I have no idea why I raised. By that time, I really was getting tired and wasn't thinking too clearly .) The ram timings are identical. Next was 240Mhz. Tbh, I had initially had doubts that this memory could run somewhat tight timings at this speed since I had seen only some examples of other manufacturer's top-tier RAM be able to do that and this, of course, was G.Skill's "value" kit @ 2x1GB. To my surprise, they booted right up @ 240Mhz with identical timings as 230. First attempt @ spi failed before the first iteration, so I rebooted this time with Vdimm @ 2.7 and had no probs. Note: I'm running on my backup psu currently so I have a feeling that the instabliity was due more to fluctuating rails rather than too little voltage to the memory.

    My results at 240Mhz cl2.5-3-3-6* @ 2.7Vdimm & x850xtpe @ stock clocks
*I actually completed a 3dMark run with Tras @ 6, but I'm showing the screenshot of the score with Tras @ 7 because for some reason, that run was higher.

    Spi1m

    Spi8m

    3dMark01

    3dMark03

I made a couple of attempts @ 245 with the same timings but it was a no-go. So I just decided to go to bed I'll play with the timings @ another time and will try to have some more results soon; this definately is to be continued...........

Any chance to run over 240 even with looser timing ?

Seems to be a good deal anyway.
