Digital-info first to expose G70, 7800GTX detail first to see! !

    Shine positively

The inclined plane of naked body shines

    Compare with 6800GT

    The power supplies some

    The back

    Die size

The fin adopts the whole aluminium to be designed

7800GTX specification , 24pipeline, pulse 430Mhz at the core, person who store adopt Samsung 1.6ns 256MB (have 512MB edition future ) , storing device set pulse as 1.2Ghz in advance altogether

    Nice!
I think this is 256mb version (because of open 'spaces' for memchips)?

I am not a nvidia fan but this sure looks impressive!

Looks nice. 430MHz seems like an extremely modest core clock to me. I hope they have some other architectural improvements to make up for it.

I also wonder what this giant connector is for:
    DFI LANParty DK 790FX-B
    Phenom II X4 955 BE (1003GPMW) @ 3.8GHz (19x200) w/1.36v

XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024MB
    8GB PC2-6400 G.Skill @ 800MHz (1:2) 5-5-5-15 w/1.8v

    Name: 7800GTX ...Fine
    Core: 430Mhz ...Fine
    Pipelines: 24 ...Fine
Ram Type: 1.6ns Ram ...NOT FINE...wtf is this, this is nex gen and it should be at least 1.4 if not 1.2.
Ram: 256MB ?? Nvidia may be trying to have this at a lower msrp than the R520...but price gouging will very fast defeat that purpose. 512MB should be the way to go for nex gen. But the increase in ram will mean more heat and it WILL be harder to clock it higher, meaning faster running ram is needed, 1.6ns is too slow.

Also, nV will most likely not have the Ultra with 32 Pipes...as it's a whole 8 pipes more. We should expect 16/20/24/28 pipeline configs if it doesnt have plans to go 32...and its a tad soon for that imo. nV will want to leave it for the 7900 series, and ATI will want to leave it for the X950 (R580) Series.

Well, I just noticed that card is even bigger than the 6800s. Also, I believe that the G80 may be the 7800Ultra or something similar and thhe 32 pipes will only be brought to arms to combat the r520.

But it's running like 300Mhz faster with the same ns ram as the Ultra, thats pretty good IMO.

they can perfectly have improved the ram and tighten the timings a bit more...
    clockspeed > timings

I like to think that the G70 might have three math units, or one extra math unit that isn't dependent on the texture unit, and can be used at all times. Something to that effect. That would justify the relatively low core speed. Either way, I'm reeeaally curious about the G70's architecture.

With 1.6ns memory and reported memory bandwidth of 38.4GB/s, I wouldn't expect the clockspeed to be any higher than 1.2GHz, effectively 100MHz improvement over the 6800 Ultra, and the same as the Ultra Extreme Edition. I have seen reports of 1.4GHz, but those are inconsistent with a reported bandwidth of 38.4GB/s, and given this new info about what speed rating the chips will be using, it seems even more unlikely to be higher than 1.2.

That's silly... Either way, it's still going to be an impressive card.

To me it doesen't seems so impresive. They could well at least have better ram to it, not last gen speed.
But how can it draw 150W 8 pipes can't generate double the heat or?

We are so used to see that the next generation will double the performence/pipelines so we wait that all new generations will do it.
Now it would be intresting to see some benches

I guess the Ultra version will be 32 pipelines.
But they holding back all info to people.
    I think.

Yeah, there's so many rumors. The g80 is the 7800Ulta, it will only be released after the r520, etc. I think this whole secrecy crap is stupid.
