hi everyone , what if i said that the northbridge revision was different to the
one you can get in the shops :banana4: would that be sufficient enough..
To put it another way, this is what asus produced to cure the problem of low HTT clocks.

We got 5X of these motherboards 12 days ago in the office to test a competitors PCB design and i thought i would take one home for the weekend.

There are no mods on the mobo *obviously considering ill get my head chopped off it there were*, and the WinXP install is from my non-deluxe board
so its not very good for benchies but nevertheless it is reporting high numbers!

it can post up to 3.6Ghz (400X9, 200% over speck) but doesnt do much else

read post above, if you are considering buying this board, please wait until the 22nd of march for the new revision to come out officially ! take care

I have had my DFI board do 350MHz 1:1 CMD T2, 700MHz 3/5/5/8 bandwith was lower then 300 1:1 @ T1 2.5/4/4/8 was thats what i am sticking too that and i get an extra 350MHz coreclock speed so go figues. From what i have seen the DFI boards can hit 500MHz 1:2 the extra voltage options are great.

The ASUS boards are great overclockers just that their T1 overclocking settings are very poor, they crap out about 260MHz the DFI boards can hit 318MHz @ T1 well thats what my board can do.

    mate i can run 280 at 2.5-3-3-0-1T-16IDLE timer !
1T is absolutely no problem with the board all the way up to 300 in fact
and with 4XHTT, but for that i need to put the PC4800 twister, and i dont have access to it anymore i use bios 1006.002 with it, but i tried 1003 and it works just fine

seems like the 1t problem isn't a bios problem...just the ones with the new revision are going to have a good OC. i'm not happy about it since I'll not change motherboard..

If it is a Hardware problem I am p*****off on ASUS.

But what says CPU-Z about the Rev. because your bord version is 1.02, I also have 1.02 but A3 ?

And what is your best score in SuperPi with best timings speeds etc
