    Value 2stage cascade

    Hi

I want to show the cheapest cascade I've made till now. I've cut costs on baseplate and oilseparator (it's manual controlled). Rest is quite standart. On the other side owner ordered temprature display for 2nd stage a more massive 54mm diam. evaporator. Rotaries are 1HP and 3/4HP.

Cut-offs on both stages, whole cascade is turned off when any of cut-offs will cut off power (2 relays used).

    Specs :

compressors: Toshiba PH160X2-4L on 1st stage and LG NK134PL-12B on 2nd stage
evap: steeper 54mm diameter, 40 mm tall
    XV: Alco TI-HW / captube 0.9 mm
    HX: Plate HX, 12 plates
condenser: 4.8kW, 2x254mm fans powered by EBM motors
    refrigerants : R507/R1150
    oilseparator : Temperite 340A + Castel Handvalve
    safety : 2x Danfoss KP5 cut-offs, Torecilla 2.3l expansion tank
    case : Wooden baseplate
others: temperature display on 2nd stage.

Sound level of full loaded cascade.

    Unloaded.

    After 2hours under 315W load.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Peter
