    X'posed Bench Table

    Hello ,

    The Project

After the lian li 343 I wanted it different , to be honest I'm kind of bored with closed and black computer...

The case will be DIMASTECH easy bench table with dual side radiator...

To keep it short the dimensions published on the web site are incorrect, bad news to fit my old PA 120.3 longer than the case

After long time i figured out how to fit everything inside anyway

    Here is the plan :

    Render :

    Hardware

    MB - Rampage Extreme 3
    CPU - I7 975x
    RAM - 3x2gb G skill Trident
    GC - Xfire 5870
    HDD - Raid 0 SSD Vertex 60gb
    PSU - Corsair HX1000

    Watercooling

    2 x PA120.3 (old)
2 laing DDC + EK dual top
    Ek Block

I strat a log already, so here are the actual pictures

And Now the custom power cord

If you find that the cheap one from your PSU doesn't look good...

Here is what you need :

    Quality power Wire
    IEC and Shucko
    Sleeve, Heatshrink and regular tools...

After you can sleeve as you know how and tadaaa

    The PSU

So after Three time i finally got my PSU like i wanted it.

First time - > To Much red

Second -> Wire two long

After some crimping moment i finally renounce to go single, and here she is :

    Third time

And of course the sleeving gear

The Case after 2 week of work :

Nice combo of colors, I've been thinking about making my build over to carbon/ red for a week or so.

    Thanks .

I'm not that into bench table either but i though it was an interesting challenge because of the view builds.

For the power cord it's a audio geeky things , old stock from my diy loudspeakers.

I hesitate a long time for the color, i usually no much fan of colors. But it seems red and carbon do the tricks. But be aware carbon fiber is really itchy, even with all the possible protection i still spend hours to scratch myself i don't konw how craigbru managed to build a full case

Seems like a great idea to me I always think it's kind of a shame when some of these beautiful build get shoved into a case, behind closed doors Better to let everyone see all of the nice craftsmanship

    Great job so far

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Why are heatsinks needed on SSDs? For bling only?

It real carbon , does not make much difference on the pictures but it's day and night in real life

I was searching a way to mount the HDD vertically, at first the heatsink was only for the 3.5 HDD but for uniformity i purchase a second one to fit the SSD's
