"That's no Moon" MM Ascension build (56K warning)
I purchased my first computer in 1999: a gateway with a furious Pentium III 500gHz chip...tops back then. In the following 10 years, my wife and I relied on the big manufacturers (Gateway, HP, Dell) to supply our computers needs. However, facing my latest upgrade, I calculated that all of the money going to the big manufacturers could be used to build a superb long-lasting computer whilst giving me a personalized experience and needing only hardware changes every so often. Many hours were spent researching the Googles by which I found this site and the MountainMods Ascension, which captured my eyes like a tractor-beam. Therefore I present to you the: "That's no Moon" build.

I initally started with a "hybrid" build, using the Corsair h50, a rather capable unit for its price and ease; an stable overclock of 4.21gHz:

I always knew that a watercooled upgrade was demanded by this setup, so I started to collect parts and paint the necessary items:

I purchased the XSPC rads from Jab-Tech; I received the old paint style with the 3.120s with M4 tapped bolt holes and the new matte paint 120.1 with 6/32 tapped bolt holes (this caused an emergency order to McMasters for the necessary metric and english black oxide socket cap bolts of appropriate length)...in person, the new paint style is more attractive:
