    [XS]Just got Phenom II x6 1055T (Retail)

It was a typical Monday at work,
after finish my work , I went to Golden Shopping Centre to meet some friends and look for any "early" launch with Phenom II x6

I noticed a store have it up on the price list
    "AMD Phenom II x6 1055T - Hex Core 2.8GHz AM3" $ 1,570 (HK Dollar)
Immediately I asked for availability, the sales replied that they aren't out yet.

I guess I have to wait a bit longer

    Somehow I got Lucky
My friend (He's a AMD fan as well) called my cellphone and told me the store have 1055T IN-STOCK and available now

I ran back to the store and grab one
Evil AMD .....nice pricing to beat Core i5-750

I will add more pic and some testing later
    hang on

    CPU-Z Validated !
    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1130956
    - Weird .......the VCore is higher than I expected , maybe new BIOS will fix it?
    - Stepping 0 ?? , not C3 or D0 , another new stepping???
    - Maybe this is the low-end Hexa Core model, only 2GHz HyperTransport speed

It is E0 but the CPU-Z can't recognize it properly.

What about the default NB clock?

Throw it in the M3A79T when you get a chance, some here would love to know if it will work with existing bios.
Doesn't look like we will get one offically.

www.amdforum.se have had this discussion with ASUS they are working on BIOS support My friends M3A78-T will get supported so I am sure yours will aswell ASUS is just working in a "backwards chronological order" they told us atleast. As long as your motherboard supports Dual Plane and 140W they will include it. But sure it could take some time but support is coming that I can tell you.

Come on man, overclock that s*cker! We're all dying to see how it does. 2GHz Hypertransport link is plenty, what's much more important is CPU-NB speed. What's the default value for that?

Idle Power Consumption Updated : With C1E Enable , Cool & Quiet Enable
My Wattage meter measure "Idle" (800MHz) consumption only runs around 60W
when Full load six-core, it goes up to 145~150W

I haven't check the temp and do the overclock yet (Stock Fan only)
Full load six core have similar "heat" as my C2 P2 955BE @ 3.7GHz at full load

For the bench, I don't know I should post them yet as "NDA" haven't end yet

I got Cinebench R10 done, Fritz Chess done (Stock speed)
    Cinebench R10

    Render 1x CPU 2925
    Render x CPU * 12774
    Multiprocessor speedup 4.37x

    Is that good ?

You did not sign a NDA you bought it off a seller so you do not come under NDA.

Cinebench R10 varies with 64bit and 32bit try some 32bit low thread bench's lets see what the turbo core can do

yes, pretty good remember it's 32 bit so it's not going to be as good as 64 bit scores.

I wouldn't worry to much about the heat on stock heat sink for now if you're test at stock clocks.

as for the nda if you bought it off the shelf I don't think so.
    HAVE NO FEAR!

The TURBO Core did kick in when Cinebench rendering with 1CPU
    CPU-Z shows 2.8GHz => 3.3GHz

But not running 3.3GHz in the whole 1CPU rendering run
    I have no clue
