    Question CM HAF 932/922 questions..

To the owners of a 932/922 i have a question or two..

What are these cases like for noise, i realise they are not designed for low noise output as such. "Normal" Fan noise(i.e wooshing) in and of it self does not bother me to much what does bother me is resonance/vibrational noise from case and fan interactions. What are the HAFs like in this respect in particular would you say ?

Also would there be an issue using 2.5in to 3.5in drive adaptors with the tool free hd mounting on these cases (for SSD's)

The original fans in this case is VERY silent, i couldnt hear it while i had that case. The screws on theese fans are tightened down pretty well, so in terms of vibration, i suppose i could say no. Not alot of that in this case.
And to your second question, yes that would be an issue, since those drives rely on the HDD to hit those "screws" on both sides. Aka.. being a 3,5" disc.

But anyway.. i dont see any problem in mounting it in one of the dvd drive bays? Just screw it into place on the opposite side of those hot swap thingys. Hope you understood what i ment here :P

This is what i mean for the HD adaptor, surely i could attach anything required by the tool free mechanism in the HAFs to this as once the 2.5in HD(s) are in this device it looks like it takes the same space/screw points as a normal 3.5in HD ?

Well what do you know . the egg reviews mention Intel SSDs and the HAF932 working ok in the Silverstone adaptor so hopefully that means im sorted in that respect.
