    Smile Gigabyte UD3P 715fsb Valid

in my country, the first round of GOOC 2009 has started,
so i buyed a UD3P to participate in the contest. The target was real high fsb, and some 4M stable fsb shots..

    - Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P
    - Intel E8600
    - 2gb Crucial Ballistix PC8500
    - PC Power & Cooling 750W
    - CPU @ between -100 and -120
    - Northbridge @ between -130 and -150

    all air:

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=508658

then max 4M stable on air:

then max 4M stable on LN2:

    690 FSB with dual-channel memory

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=508692

And finaly a suicide shot, 715 fsb valid

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=508699

I experienced that the UD3P is a really good board for FSB and memory overclocking, but for some reason, it is really unstable, and refuses to go through the Superpi 4M on higher FSB..

Still Gigabyte did a great job on this one!
I hope to get in the top-5, and can participate in the swedish finals.. whould have been real nice!

Really loving what these boards can do. High FSBs and high RAM overclocking capability and for this price. And it's not one or two but many people are having great OCs with them.

    try adjust vMCH/Ref (MCH GTLREF)
and notice vMCH/Ref needs to track vTT(vFSB)
    like my example, vTT 1.2v, i give vMCH/ref 0.68v
this one just normal air cooling ,and low vtt

    thanx for the friendly commants

@ Hicookie, i see you changed your MCH Reference from 0.65 to 0.68..

but for me, it actually got worse when highering MCH Reference.
I lowered it instead, and got better results! 0.62 was really the sweetpot for me
