    4870x2 containers (nothing fancy ;-)

    Hello

Few weeks ago Benji Tshi ordered from me two kits of containers for 4870X2 . They're simple design, 15 mm thick cooper base, elbow 35mm, cooper pipe 35mm/ 20cm long - 100% cooper. Insulation 19 mm . K probes on each one. Mounting holes for all cards (included gtx280 so 61x61 mm too and all older cards. PLUS they've RED powdercoated backplates from which I'm proud - hehe j/k , but I like them in this color .

I'm not happy only becasue of mounting holes - man in lathe workshop hadn't remembered to make 53.5x53.5mm dimension and I must make them by myself , on normal driller that're looking not good . Luckily Benji said they'll be used mainly on 4870x2 . So I've even already mounted bolts for 43.8x43.8 (4870x2's dimension) .

That's what I got from lathe workshop (not all -cat is mine ) .

After bath in "lemon" acid .

Maybe this glue doesn't look nice, but it's strong .

PS. Sorry, now I know those 640x480 pics suxxx and I won't be making them anymore .

    Regards
    Peter

look perfect to me, fancy is overrated, more bells and whistles on something more there is to go wrong. Can't wait for some in action pics.

Very nice looking and I think not so expensive POTs. The cat must be in the front

So, pots received, LN2 ready, i have tried Quad CF under LN2...but encounters some problems :

The pots was too large to fit on Rampage 2, because slots are not spaced enough...So quad CF wasn't possible, even on Rampage (s775) because CF bridge was too short.

    Anyway, i put one 4870 X2 under LN2, and i get nearly 42k on 3DM05.
I was only @925/980, but my card was ready for 975...But Rivatuner didn't agree

I'll try next week, but here is some pics first :
