Problems that occured during the OC session:
- the temperature sensor doesn't go below 0°C, tends to throttle
- memory doesn't want to overclock when GPU under SS (~ -53°C on the evaporator) - on air it did 1250MHz+, under SS 1150MHz just barely...
- clocks worse than any 8800GT / 8800GTS G92 we tested, perhaps due to coldbug?
- driver is causing stutter-effects
- new, 6-phase digital PWM, is faily cold when cooled with Vantec Tornado, although not much use of it due to diminished clocking abilities...
Short, two-minute YouTube video will be up shortly
Results:
All results are the new records in the GeForce 9800GTX category. Jup Pedro Rocha, no fidly mipmap tweak used, only LOD bias range!Runs could be a bit better, we have some 98k 2001SE results somewhere, but we've lost it
With LN2 on the CPU 100k could be possible, but with better motherboard, this P5K is crapping out on us. Every day it's PWM is getting worse
