Buy K9A2 now, or wait for SB700?

This is my first post here, so hello to you all. Since I'm from the Netherlands, my English could be a bit hard to understand.

At the moment I have a C2D e6600 which does 3200Mhz @ 1.162Volts on an 680i motherboard. But due to problems with the chipset I'm currently using (not compatable with 45nm and high powerconsumption) I'm considering moving to AMD. Actually, I've allready made up my mind. I'd rather invest in a platform that is build to cooperate then stay with my Intel setup which platform is being destroyed by backstabbing (intel-nvidia) and the luxery of being able to keep pushing new chipsets into the market. I need a futureproof systeem, and think AMD will be better for that. And I might want to use Crossfire :d.

So far the why I want this. Which I must say is not part of the discussion, it's just my opinion.

The current 790FX looks like a good chipset to me, but every review I read complains about the SB600. Not only connectivity wise, but also performance wise. The second thing is what has me worries to be honest. Can anyone here convince me into waiting for the SB700?

The extra connectivity is something I do not need, I have only 3x Sata in use plus I need an IDE port which the SB700 doens't have. But extra performance would allways be welcome.

Are there any huge changes in the southbridge? I read things about not supporting AHCI / NCQ in the SB600 and therefor harddisk performance would be low? Same goes for USB / Firewire.

Oh for those who wish to know my new setup:
    K9A2 Platinum
    AMD Black Edition 5000+
    4x 1Gb OCZ Platinum Rev 2 (4-4-4-12-1T)
    AMD 2900Pro @ XT 1Gb DDR4
    Antec NeoHE 550Watt
2x Western Digital Raptors, which might be replaced for SAS

    Watercooling:
    1x Black ICE GT 240mm
    1x Black ICE GT 120mm
    4x Yate-Loon
    1x Heatkiller Rev 2.5
    1x Swiftech MCW30 for northbridge
    1x EK Fullcover for R600
    1x Laing DDC-1RT (12Volt)
