    Ye 169.02 is "old".

Why use second hand downloads when you can use nVidia.com?

169.02 BETA is old, WHQL is a couple of days old or well almost a week now. But it's no different to BETA anyways it seems, only the WHQL sticker applied.

NVIDIA needs a driver that is stable with great compability atm. I love 167.26 but for others they are highly unstable and have problems with HL2 ep2 for example. 169.xx are also quite buggy altho perhaps not as much as 167.26 though but has also a bit worse performance. 169.02 does seem to be the most stable among the newer ones though.

    but you have too:
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_169.02.html
    ForceWare Release 169 WHQL
    Version: 169.02
    Release Date: October 31, 2007
    Operating System: Windows Vista 32-bit

which are: WHQL Certified driver for GeForce 8800 GT GPUs.

So perhaps, RPGWiZaRD should look for an xp / or a vista whql driver for his chip
