    i bought this game ages ago in anticipation of this patch expecting I would have bought an R600, sucks having to wait for the next card to be released... Guess I could get a GTS or something cheap to hold me over......

    anyone have any results...i have all the hardware ready to go, but I wasn't going to buy vista until the first service pack comes out, but if this is good I may have to get it now.

    Also, anyone heard of release date for vista sp1? If its soon I will just wait

    i saw a vid about dx9 vs dx10 in CoH, wasn't at all impressed
    the smoke seem to look the same, lighting seemed slightly improved, textures seemed the same everything else seem the same.

    major disappointment but i will hold off final judgement till i read a full write up about the "so called" improvements and maybe some screenshot/video comparison of actual gameplay.

    maybe play it before you make judgement?

    fair dos, the problem with this DX10 game is that there is a DX9 codepath. Which means that the whole game is held back by DX10 and the only things that can be done are added effects... really we need a DX10 only game for things to start getting real good

    Theres a differance I played it for a week before the patch just to see if there was one, nvidia still needs better drivers for DX10 there still pretty crappy at this point.

    And with the newest drivers there's still no support for SLI AA?
