I've got a pair on the way that I am going to put into my gamer box and "test". In general, the DHX line is a midrange line under the high end Dominator line. So, massive OCing is probably not going to happen but, I'll get back to you with what these will do for me.

I just wanted to add a couple of results I had gotten with an average kits, as part of my testing in the lab, a while ago:
2 x 2048MB (4GB) on Asus Striker Extreme @ DDR2-896 5-4-4-12, 2.10v --> 2hrs ORTHOS LargeFFT
Latencies 5-4-4-15 also possible, with only few Mhz of OC lost. Above OC also stable at 1.90v.
4 x 2048MB (8GB) on eVGA 680i @ DDR2-880 5-5-5-15, 1.90v --> 24hrs ORTHOS Blend
4 separate instances of SP2004 in order to allocate MAX possible amount of memory on MS Vista 64-bit
Notes:
- around DDR-960 5-4-4-12 is possible for some benchmarking, but not very stable, though;
- most of the time, 1.90v is all you need, more voltage does not seem to be largely beneficial in terms of full stability, just adds heat;
- chips used: Micron D9HNL, 78nm, 128Mx8
- just as Mike (YellowBeard) mentioned, it's a midrange line, at good price/performance point, with still some headroom for overclocking left to play;
- max results on 965P/975X chipset are somewhat lower;

I'll see if Bachus can toss a set into a 975x board. I don't have my 4096 kit yet so I still can't test it.

At the same frequency yes, 4,4,4,12 will give better bandwidth. However, in many cases 5,5,5,15 at 1000 will give slightly more bandwidth than 4,4,4,12 at 800. I have no idea how that P5K will handle it though so, you may need to do some testing of your own.
I would suggest clocking the memory first at 4,4,4,12 and getting your MAX CPU OC at a 1:1 ratio. Then, loosen the timings to 5,5,5,15 and see if you can any faster. Then, you can do the same comparison to see how the system runs dividers if you want. However, with PC6400 RAM you will most likely get your best overall performance at 1:1 maxed out at 5,5,5,15 or with a 4:5 "IF" the RAM will run that fast.

Someone else on Ars Technica topped out at 850mhz, I'm wondering how far my set will go.
P5K doesnt like super tight timings, I think its a bug since it was designed around DDR3, and sometimes looser timings results in faster sticks with lower latencies....I run faster 4-4-4-10 than i do 4-4-4-4, latency goes down a ton when tweaking performance level, which unfortunately is not an option in bios
