Quad GT + 6700 + Dual stage rotary cascade

    Hello all

Weekend - time to some clocking, so we decided to play with ABIT Quad GT + retail 6700 ( the same CPU clocking Shark-357 ) and dual stage cascade BBP*

    * build by Piotres

    Hardware used :

ABIT Quad GT with beta bios --> tnx for Aurél
    2 x 1GB Team Xtreem 800MHz + 1 x 512MB Crucial Ballistix 667MHz ( one stick of this kit not working more )
    Core 2 Duo E6700 retail L628B151
    VGA SIS 8MB PCI
    Dual stage rotary cascade
    BQ 500W

First problem : one stick of Team Xtreem kit, not working with vdimm more than 2.2V So we combined CruTeam
    1 x 512MB Crucial 667MHz + 1 x 1024MB Team 800MHz and this kit has working easy with 2.6V and more stable clocking to >500MHz 4-4-4-4-4-20 ..

Next problem - Windows - sweet, clean install and system broken ..
Lol, but we don't have more time to install new system and start clocking with this awsome XP Pro SP2

    Foto and results

    SPI 1M at 5060MHz

    PiFast at 5060MHz

We have also 4M with time 1:01 at 5060MHz

Shark-357 have stop at 5060-5080MHz, and we have stop at 5060MHz

    Set in bios 515 x 10, boot ok, in windows still 506 x 10

    FSB wall ? Bug bios ? I don't know.

    Load at 5060MHz @ 1.8V

    The end

    Regards

    Martin

ps. of course score add for XS HWbot Team

Life sometimes gets in the way of what we want to do.
