    looks the same to me.

its hard to judge using cross platform titles though, because codes won't be as optimized as the exclusive titles.

the only difference i noticed is the texture filtering on few ocasions PS3 was had bit less AF but then as the angles seem different i'd say its the same all round as that game is not even pushing the x360 so both systems can take it easy.

On the Tiger Woods video, it looked like the PS3 had a lot of low-res trees mixed in with the high-res ones whereas the 360 was all high-res. Also towards the end on the green the PS3 seems a bit more bland.

For the most part they're equal though, except one costs $200 more

Anyone's guess. Rumors abound what Infinity Ward has up their sleeve with the PC version. This is all we know so far. This Grant Collier guy seems to think COD4 will be a modern combat game, but that's a complete guess on his part...

Video comparisons? Thats like comparing gold using a dirty magnifiying glass. Even though it does point out somethings, its still not something that should be used for making decisions.

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.

I actually agree, before we all knock the PS3 we need to see real apples for apples comparisons which won't likely happen until it hits US. Videos have compression which is an obvious disadvantage.

Oh well, shouldn't be a huge loss. "CoD3" is being developed by Treyarch, the guys who made the "masterpiece" spinoffs Finest Hour and Big Red One. Infinity Ward has bigger fish to fry right now.

One question about the comparisons that keep coming out, have any of these people run the games in 1080p yet?

Do you think that would even matter at this point? Neither system is putting out games at anything better than 1280x720 at this point, and it is uncertain whether any will ever be able to do true 1920x1080. The systems only up-convert them to 1080i or 1080p. I would have to say that 1080p should not make any difference at all.
