DS3 bios has hidden options, how to unhide them? (*not* Ctrl+F1)

    As SlackerXL wrote here:

there are options in BIOS which are visible randomly, especially after a failure reboot...
I have seen them myself few times, so they must be somewhere in BIOS.
Normal Ctrl+F1 does not show these options...

Anyone who know how to edit bioses could you please look at the bios and tell if and what hidden options are there in DS3 bios?
I've tried http://www.biosmods.com/download.php modbin and some others but no success, but i'm a noob to bios editing...

    DS3 bioses are here:

I'm kind of disappointed that no one has replied to this yet. Maybe they are reading the title and assuming you just don't know about CTRL+F1.

yeah doesnt work for me either.

the feature it unlocks is interesting. it may or maynot have a direct effect on overclocking, i read thru the whitepaper and still cant say for sure.
but it does unlock 2 new temp readings.
    southbridge, and PWM i believe.

if ther eis a southbridge temp reading and gigabyte hasnt opened it then thats retarded. unless the reading is just very very wrong.

Did you use modbin under a ntfs filesystem or fat32? I beleive modbin only works under a fat32 filesystem.

i could see that but if you RAN it off a fat file system,, wouldnt that be the same? or would it see the current OS as NTFS ?

i would love to be able to open up any hidden features of the DS3 bios or simply change certain ones....

Maybe we can E-mail Gigabyte ?

Maybe can those bios engineers unlock those things.. I think it easy but you need the right program that can read the bios proberly.

Any update on this? I have the Gigabyte 965p-ds3 rev 3.3 and can't figure out how to modify it. I know its possible because I have found modified versions of this bios. I listed a link to the bios below and when I try to open it with modbin6, it states its not compressed. The Bios is an Award Biod v6.0PG.

    http://tw.giga-byte.com/Support/Moth...ProductID=2456

I've tried various versions of modbin6 with no success. The latest I could version of modbin6 find was 2.01.01.
