COMMENT: running now at 438 with 2.0, DS3 holding me back, wont let me go over 500 no matter how many vbumps, it has to be the DS3, havent seen any 2gb kits doing over 500 stable on a ds3
256MB of Nanya PC2-4300 (266Mhz); Part Number=NT256T64UH4A0FY-37; week 20 year 06.....works on the DQ6 with all bios versions i have tried. It's default voltage is 1.8V and can go upto 2.1V safe....has some OC potential also....4-4-4-12 by SPD.
MOBO: DS3

MAX: 100% stable at 1:1 800/4-4-4-12/2.0V, 850/4-5-4-15/2.1V or 5:4 @940/5-5-5-15/2.1V

Very good ram for the money. I thought I had problems with it but it turned out to be my E6400 needed more Vcore.

this thread is confirming my suspicions on the DS3 not being able to boot or stabilize ram over 500 even if independently capable regardless of voltage
MOBO: DS3
TYPE: 2x 1GB G.Skill 6400PHU2 GBHZ (http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820231065)
MAX: Haven't tried anything over 500, but it was stable (for me this is a few hours of Oblivion/BF2) at 500 4-4-4-12 @ +.4V set in BIOS
BOOT?: I first booted F1 w/ some cheap 512mb that I borrowed from a friend. Set +.3V in BIOS, popped the G.Skill in, and I haven't had any problems since. But I never tried booting lower than +.3V with the G.Skill
MOBO : DS3 Bios F3
TYPE: 2 x 512MB Corsair CM2X512A-6400
MAX: 352 MHz 5-5-5-15
BOOT?: Boots like a dream. Currently running them at .2v Probably don't even need to. 352 FSB is not actually the max. Just the highest I could get with those timings, my intel heatsink and fan, and that voltage. F2 booted fine. I would imagine F1 would boot fine too.
Mem : 2 x 1GB PDP XBLK+ 1GHz 4-4-4-12/800MHz 3-4-3-8@2.2V
Max boot : 300MHz with 1:1
Max oc : 320MHz x 9 mem 1:1 3-4-3-8@2.4V and stop
Bios F3
This mem is not good for me and DQ6
DS3 with F4 bios
Mem:Crucial Ballistix 2x512 PC6400 D9GMH
Max stable mem:950Mhz at 2.1v (2.2v factory default for my mem, kinda weird)
BOOT:Boots fine on 1.8v,even though it needs 2.2v
Mine is similar to this:
MB: DS3 BIOS F3, F4 and a couple of other betas
MEM: 2x1 GB Patriot PC5400 677 MHz 4-4-4-12 Micron D9
MAX: (so far) 400 1:1 5-5-5-14 2.0v
Boot: No issues
