Actually I think that looks good with the stems painted
Do you use any kind of accumulator?
I just wonder as it seems like it may have liquid return issues when fully charged for higher loads. That is if you're charging and testing at higher (200 to 210w) loads.
It's just that the suction run is fairly short, and the captube exits long before the U-bend.
Cheers

i think the builder takes pride in his units..attention to detail rules..
it's a bit like a fine italian hand made suit or a one off special built car.. little details make some feel good.
looks really clean and err... nice![]()
Fantastic work there mate, so so clean![]()
compressor looks pretty small for a 1/2 hp recip

That's AWESOME work! Looks great)
...currently under construction...
Nice unit
any difference on temps compared to nl11f?
What did you use for edge shielding? It looks very nice.
Man i just love the looks of your machines great work.
Great job, as usual![]()
Forget the size of the compressor, the size of that condensor is awefully small for a 1/2hp (6000btu) comp. Standard condensor size for a 1/2hp system is about 3 times larger than the one hes using and im not talking about physical size but in the # of fins and length of tubing.Originally Posted by MarioMaster

Very beautiful unit, any bench with this?
Battlefield 3: Nachthymnen666
The condensor seems well specced for that compressor. 3 times the size???Originally Posted by _HL4E_HalfLife_
As for the MP14FB compressor, its very good indeed although I did not find a very big gain over NL11F atall using straigth R402a. I did however find the extra capacity comes in handy when playing with higher pressure stuff. In General R404a/R507a compressors is not perfectly suited for our application, the motors tend to be overpowered for the displacement generating alot of unnecesary heat. The GP14 R134a compressor will yield a better result.
What is load results in comparison to your NL11F systems? I found very small improvement if any?

You need to fit heat load from the proc plus 30% usually for size the condensor, what you are saying is because you are looking at some condensing units that comes ready for AC or comercial use, where you are looking for a lot more BTU's than we use in our application.Originally Posted by _HL4E_HalfLife_
I don't understand what ur gauges are reading over here in Nova Scotia we use Psi. Can you convert? Math isn't one of my strong points.Originally Posted by LittleDevil

It's on the gauges. 1 MPa = 145psi
So it's 1.25 MPa, that's around 181psi.
Is that idle, load, if so what load?
Cheers
