    3D actions with Conroe E6700 from Japan

    We Japanese OC'ers love SuperPI, but I also love 3D too, and don't you?

    BTW, I'm using a non-released CPU, Conroe...
    At first, I want to avoid fair/unfair argument...just many thanks to my friend/supplier and my luck.
    And I also want to avoid Intel vs AMD argument...I've enjoyed both products from AMD and Intel.

    Anyway, these are my preliminary test results.

    3DMark05: 22615
    Both CPU and GPU are water-cooled assisted by air-conditioner.
    <img src="http://222.151.149.185/c-board/file/3DM05_22615_E6700_3810.22.png">

    AquaMark3: 201602
    Dryice cooling for CPU.
    GPU is water-cooled assisted by air-conditioner.
    <img src="http://222.151.149.185/c-board/file/AM3_201602_E6700_4166.67.png">

    I'll try LN2 cooling tonight

    Holy crap my system gets dwarfed here lol How far would you say does the CPU contribute to this monsterscore compared to the GPU? Guess I'll get my nswer with the LN2.

    Does anyone even need this kind of power in real life?

    Nice!
    Now I want a conroe even more
    But I thought you would get more out of it with Dice than "just" 300mhz.
    What voltage are you running it with? I take it cpu-z doesnt read it right.

    Many thanks to all

    Vcore is around 1.55V for water-cooling, and 1.62V for dryice-cooling.
    And Vdimm is 2.42V, Vio is 3.48V.

    Now preparing LN2-cooling...

    *sigh, I just wished the price between the E6600 and 6700 wasn't so big, or I'd buy the 6700.
