Figured out my problem:
Ram. Pure and simple the X6 does not like this ram. I tried it in a 790GX and still limited at 260ht. Plopped in some Crucial basic DDR3-1333mhz and it will boot right up to 295ht now.

ASrock messed up with the 890GX, I had amasing clockability with the early biosses. Though once they focused on Thuban they messed some codes up... loosing even 1800C6 action...Originally Posted by Hawkeye4077
