IMHO Waste is a computer going to a landfill having done actual computations less than 90% of it's life. 90% of the computers powered on right now are idle or powered off; what a waste! [/B]

Is it a coincidence that your wifes pc is called Uranus?

On sticker was 15 OZ, not fl.OZ, so I bet it's measured by weight .

It my be measured by weight in some part of the world, but I have my doubts about that even. Here at least, oil is measured and specified by volume, not weight. Just because it doesn't say "fl oz", doesn't mean its by weight, on my small cans of POE oil it says 8.5 OZ (.251 L); If it wasn't by volume, why would they put the metric equivalent in volume instead of weight?

Maybe thats why the oil seperator failed? hhhhhmmmm

*** another CASCADE BY PIOTRES ;-D***

Another cascade, rather I won't finish it till 24.12. but I've decided to post some pictures here .

This cascade is ordinary - two rotaries around 10000 BTU, plate HX, TXV, baseplate made from zincked steel plate .

    Specs (most possible) :

    compressors: TECO KETC176ELBC-A on 1st stage (10755 BTU),TOSHIBA PG165X1C-4DFDE2 on 2nd stage (10000 BTU)
    evap: steeper
    XVes: ALCO TI-HW (designed for R22, but I bet it'll be working well with R507) + nozzle 01 / captube 0.9 mm
HX: plate HX , 12 plates
condenser: 3.0 Kw, alu-cu, cooled by 300mm/230V fan
    refrigerants : R507/R1150
    oilseparator : Shine Year automatic
safety : JOHNSON CONTROLS cut-off, 1.8 litre TORRECILLA expansion tank
    case : baseplate 46 x 46 cm, zincked steel + wheels
others: 4*REFCO gauges, Anaconda shocks absorber on 1st stage's suction line,DIXELL XR20CX controller (turn on 2nd stage automatically when 1st stage is enought cold) .

    Baseplate is ready .

Braided suction line and compressors .

Next part of work in second half of week, I must order some more parts .

    With Kindest Regards
    Peter

I love contests, it's amazing the time and effort that people will invest to win a relatively small prize.

Keep up the good work folks!
