This is so much fun. There's no way this is prime stable (haven't tried yet), but I can get into XP and manage this with the 4.00B multiplier.

Finally got around to try Orthos Blend and failed in seconds. Bumped vDimm up to 2.0v and lasted just under 4 min. Looks like I need to put more Vcore (and probably MCH Core) to even think about getting anywhere near being able to fully test stabilty @ 2000 MHz. I'm not comfortable with that since modules are only warranted to 2.0v max. Plus, not that much difference in performance to justify possibly fryin them. Hell, I'm still shocked it even booted!![]()

wohoo !
Ofcourse there is a limit in the cheapest DDR2-800 Mem u can buy ! They were never bought to this build, but seemed OK for 4GHz+ with earlier 750i build...anyways:
4150MHz was 8hr+ P95 OK, but later gave error at 5 and 3hr mark...anything above it was a no go, resulting in meaningless tweaking. Had 2x 10hr P95 Blend runs at 4.1GHz (mem 912MHz), and last I could lower vcore to 1.3375v, FSB 1.28(65%ref), NB 1.28v(auto ref) - lower NB and FSB tip by LSDMEASAP
so...I AM happy with 4.1GHz...1.296v load is also helping.....mem is maxxed out...but, should I go DDR-9200/9600? there are OCZ Blades and GSKILL @ 1,8v...I could perhaps get 4.25Ghz with 1.368v bios...but that would be 2.4x mem ratio
Happy or super happy? cost is 100 euros...but G.SKILL are not sold in my country, OCZ Blades arrive in september....
EDIT/// Re evaluate your music! Found Eddie Hazel from '71, rocks Hendrix soxx off-Maggot Brain....all brit gtr players sound this, so does Buckethead in particular. Like it, alooooot
10hr P95 Blend, 4.1Ghz 1.296v load. havent tested lower vcore.

I picked up the GSkill 9600 pi's because I couldnt get the OCZ LV Platinum 1150's to boot at 1200mhz using 240b 5:6 divider. Turns out it was the rev1.1 board that was causing the issue, which I kinda figured after finding the pi's wouldn't boot using 240b either. Out of curiosity I stuck the Plats in the rev1.0 board today and they booted right up at 1200mhz 240b pl8 turbo. Have not tested using Prime Blend but just ran a 32m PI, will test more tonight. In Everest bench they score pretty close to the pi's using higher trfc~54 vs 50 pi's and using 5 5 5 18 timings vs 5 5 5 15 pi's. I am sure the GSkill pi's will clock higher but this was all I wanted. $149.99 down the drain lol.

the OCZ sticks, 1.84v Everest, but what u put in bios?
edit. // u have 800 sticks (cpuz display) running 1200mhz !? explain what they are.
edit // max Bandwidth (6400) number in cpuz must be off. i also see 1150mhz from model number in cpuz.![]()

Whatever happened to the fear of 1.4v vcore for the 45nm chips? Seems like you guys are just trying to kill them with voltage now.

But I hope I'm dead wrong here as it looked like the ultimate P45 mobo

Don't know Leeghoofd, I wan't to pull the heat spreaders off to find out, but I'm afraid of yanking off a chip too! Since they are not mine (this is a work pc) I'm a little hesitant....any recommendations on how to easily accomplish it?
