yeah i gonna beleave that my P5W DH does not get my Q6600 to 3,6Ghz.
i get it stable on 3,2 only 3,3 are stable to for 3dmark05 but 3dmark06 not
Prime are stable to on 3,3 but 3dmark06 not.
So i think 3,2 are the highed clock for my Q6600 i think.

But what i dont understand are the memory.
If i dont overclock and let it to 2,4 ghz i cant run my mem @ 4.4.4.11
All what i test doesnt boot (no bios screen)
If i set the mem to Auto (By SPD) than it boots but than are the mem @ 5.6.6.18.
But SPD in Everest Ultimate tells me a another timings and not the timing i get from the Auto (by SPD) 5.6.6.18..
So can you or some else explaine me something about that.
How i get 4.4.4.11 working on 2,4 default clock..

Hmz could be the board:X Or your ram is faulty. I would say if u got the money get a P35 and since ram is so dirt cheap, get some Crucial Ballistix Pc6400/8500 either is good for your wallet and put your mobo+ ram on sale. Those kingston arent really nice ram tbh:X

    2) Week: Once I am done testing... didn't bother taking picture -_-;
    3) CPU-Z Validation : How do I do this?
    4) Screen shot of it running at that speed (orthos, prime95..ect) 100% load
    5) Phase change made by me. Tuned for best temp around 200W.

    7) Asus P5K-E. Stock no mod.
This is not end of it yet as it is in progress... but I am bit giddy with excitement Every 30 minutes-1hour is 5fsb up

Nice jinu117. If you have the chance could you please compare the max FSB for a superpi 1M run on air and with phase? Thanks.

About validation: open cpuz, choose "about" tab, choose validation. Save the validation file, go to cpuz website and upload it there.

Air might have to wait for quite some time... This was actually done to test load condition comparison between 2 different system I built. I decided to start with lesser of 2... and still hitting at it. Right now working at 4.23ghz or so... at 1.56v. Looking at evap temp (CPU temp reads 0 all these time... kind of useless), and load capacity of this unit, I probably have another .3 to .4v to go up. (However, the oc amount for volt decreased significantly now... tops I probably will stop on this unit would be 4.25-4.3ghz...)
Than I will have to test another unit that can hold significantly more voltage. I would think up to 1.65v - 1.7v range. Once that is done, there are other cooling methods I am looking to test... However, quick air can't hurt at that time I guess since I will have to take off insulation for the other testings. FSB for max super pi... I will try that out before taking out this cooler for comparison purposes

Well this is the final overclock for now on this cooler. Next voltage up requires more capacity than the unit can handle. For bench I am sure there are probably .1-.3v more someone can play with but I rather not crash this windows until all testing is done. Which hopefully I can test on next cooler with higher capacity. If I don't burn motherboard as it is quite high voltage range now.

So close yet so far from 4.3ghz

In all honesty, the oldie isn't bad at all.
In fact, oldie might be quite excellent on Penryn to be released from some news I am gathering.

Man you are 2nd person to comment on the fire extingusher lol... just following OSHA... :P I actually need to get couple more, one next to CNC mill and one next to laser engraver...

I already had 4 Quads and this one was the best:

    Q6600 GO @ 3600
    L728A
    Water cooled
    1.40v load
    PK5 deluxe
    1 hour blend
    OS = XP Pro

meanwhile I changed board --> Blitz formula
...and the results are quite nice

--> nice FSB without much tweaking

--> max spi 1M ...for now..

Jinu can you send me a memset screenshot of your 4.3ghz run?
It'd be interesting to know a few settings...
I'm hangin at 4ghz 1.43v with phase (but it seems to be that my mainboard could be the prob too )

Can't do bl1zZ :P Basically CPU is back to RunMC so he can do his testing of things. What I remember is that I just set memory pretty lenient per specification. Voltage I tested I think was also MUCH higher than what you were doing (well, I make systems that can handle it obviously :P) so it was not finess but brute force method of getting the overclock. I really don't have too much time to tinker and learn each new mobo/cpu combination of overclock and it was for quick run to figure out how much heat dump current (well previous gen now) CPU generates under extreme condition

The QX6850 is only available as G0 stepping. Check out Processor Spec Finder on the Intel website. The sSpec# will be SLAFN on the box.
