    Slightly tweaked 704-2 DFI bios

Oskar asked me to unhide a few extra ram options in the upclock section. Some may work and some may not so try at your own risk. I am testing so i know the bios loads ok.

Also I removed all the CAS settings that don't work, 1.5, 2 , 2.5 and 3 are still there but the others are gone.

Thats about it, no table tweaks etc and its only available on the -2 at this time.one last thing is i had Oskar remove the added 0.1vdimm thats applied when you set TRCD to 2, so now the Vdimm you set in bios is real close to the vdimm the board actually sets.

    Grab it here

if you have a winchester none of the upclock options will work, but we just don't know without testing...post what you discover

It seems AMD have mentioned support for ddr533 with FX57, Oskar has added the register options into bios but had to hide them, i unhid them for him
Now he thinks these added option may do nothing, I renamed them from X to A B....E to we can talk about them.

Post what you find, remember pressing the insert key will get you booted if the board stalls.

Is this BIOS optimized for TCCD or only UTT/BH5 or all of them?

Here is my first results with tccd

    Dividers "A , B , C , D , E" no boot
Divider 250 is now shown at a64tweeker as 133 and not as 133++ as with previous bioses but if was 133 my ram should boot at 2-2-2-5 but no go

Running everest(right now while posting) with my cpu 220*12(stock cooling) and 250 divider and 2.5-3-3-5 i get
    7057 read
    2933 write
    39ns latency

Now i willt try with one stick of ch-5

The 704 BIOS needs more dividers in the middle range. It goes from 140 to 166 and thats just too big of a jump. It needs at least the 150 divider back. And the 140 divider gave me some weird reports. Memtest was reporting the RAM running at like 285Mhz when it shouldn't of been anywhere near that high and CPU-Z didn't even report the RAM speed.

You can't add what is not supported, i have a feeling with E die some of the other middle ratio's were done away with and the upper ones added.

its a case of you can't have everything but you can have 90% of what you want.

What we need is someone with an FX57 to have a play with the bios...see what they find.

Im waiting for Oskar to remove the hidden 0.1+Vdimm TRCD tweak from the files then i will load up modbin and mod the other 2. for the record though i hit just as high overclocks with -2 as -3 and -1 with TCCD, i find the -2 stable and universal.

Third party programmes can't read properly the dividers...maybe cpu-z at next version can read them

I had a 150 divider on the previous BIOS versions, why wouldn't i be able to have a 150 divider now?

Just use A64 tweaker if you need the 150 divider...

yea I noticed the 150 divider gone too. Strange but it could be as Tony suggested, it was taken out for whatever reason to accomodate the newer ones. Wondering however, why does the vdimm get a 0.1v boost if TRCD at 2 is selected? Does it help the board and memory stay stable because of the setting being at 2?

I too am wondering about the 533 option as supposedly the FX-57 supports that. I hope someone can test it but more imporantly verify that the registers that were put in actually work. If so that would be cool. I plan on getting an FX-57 as my next cpu.

Yes but the 123% and higher options have been removed so it's pretty safe to use.

About the 150 divider. It's there when I set multiplier to 9x and it's gone when it's at 10x. WTF? I actually need the 150 divider as it maxes out my mem with this 280x10 Venice
