    Got me an FX57

Some FX57 overclocking (including Prometeia Mach II).

Thought you might want to see some results

    Standard Mach II. No mods.

Air cooled with Zalman CU7700 HSF

    3.1 GHz

    Prometeia Mach II.

3.45 GHz Runs through all the benchmarks.

3.5 GHz Runs everything except 3DMark. I think the Mach II needs to be colder though.

Highest SuperPI run so far. 270x13 – Mushkin BH5 1:1

And the era of FX-57 begins.

3.1 on air is promising, can't wait to see under LN2, assuming of course, there is no cold bug.

lol thanks. I was waiting for a good review to pop up especially one that overclocks with phasechange. Now I think I will have to go with the X2, it seems the only difference at high clocked speeds is that the x2 can multitask and offers a more future proof solution. Thanks sheik

FX57 looks great if you can get it stable 3.1Ghz++ on air.
Not the price though which is around $1,100 in US

    It is in stock at
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal..._939_cpus.html

    but the price is £763.69 = $1,400
