    Eel,

Can you show how you are mounting the prommie to the vid card?

Also, for those on the short bus, how exactly are you getting 1.7+ vcore.

    TIA

I think you could do that with older afudos and some switches (do not remember which ones, but they are in this thread somewhere as i recall), though I am not sure, but then your network adapter should not work as it is different, and then you cannot have RAID on non E DELUXE....

Grats! However your Nature is a bit on the low side for those clocks. My Pro VIVO @ 16p 625/630 get 270 fps

Wich means your score can be better

Yeah his nature is low, with that gpu clock he should see nature about 315-320fps,i think he forgot to move slider in cp to best performance.

The latest beta bios for P4C800-E Deluxe (1001.023) also works for P4C800 & P4C800 Deluxe.

The multiplier & Vcore option work fine.

You will lose your LAN (diff. chip) and your raid.

I flashed the bios using /n /pbnc switches with afudos 2.18

The EIST also works fine for both multi & Vcore

uclajd: I see you are also using P4P800 SE ..have you tried the bootblock mod to get the PAT -working when booting 201fsb and over? I mean Bigtoes invention where you flash P4P8X -boards bootblock with afudos to P4P800 -series board and after that flash the latest bios (for example 1009-003) with old 1.16b afudos wit suitable options not overwriting the first done bootblock. This mod should get you working fully enabled PAT 201+ fsb´s and agp/pci -locked.

Only restriction is that only 1:1 fsb/mem ratio works with the ´juiced´ bootblock. Wit BH-5 memory this is probably optimal anyways...

I don't really need the boot block since the bios is made for the SE, but I did it anyway, I boot above 201 and AGP lock is fine. Haven't tried PAT, too many other issues with my vid card. 5:4 doesn't work - I wish.

Also wish I had BH-5 - I am using ADATA which I can get to CAS 2.5 at 274 @ 3.0v, but not CAS 2.0.

Put the OCZ -boostah to my rig and 2x512MB Twinmos new BH-5 takes some more RPM wit 3.3Vdimm (they did only about 219MHz with bios max 2.85Vdimm). 9 x 290fsb 5:4 divider so memory at 232MHz wit 5-2-2-2 PAT partially enabled. This seems to give reasonable good results beating 1:1 12x 217 PAT fully enabled with a clear difference. Got new record with default X800 XT PE in 3dmark2k1 ...whopping 32198 points. 3D -seems to be stable. Also memory benches are quite cruching in Everest, Sandra and specially in PC-mark 2002.

Really would like to test the bootblock mod and try 1:1 with PAT -fully enabled and 11x multi 236FSB. Might just well beat this 5:4 divider result.

Does enabling PAT influence vid card?
    How come?

Well I fried my board - Actual smoke coming from the P4P800-SE's southbridge. That sucks. Oh well, looks like I am in the market for a P4C...

I really have been snake-bit in this little project.

    More points 3DM2k1: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8629691

...X800 XT PE vidcard still @ default clocks and othervice the system is not tuned in anyways. Multi @ 9x, 295FSB / 236MEM starting to show some quite impressive numbers. Sandra givin almost 6000MB/s buffered and easily over 3700MB/s unbuffed.

    Hey guys..

Has anyone tried to boot 201 with a b1 400fsb dothan? (and of course P4P/C)

Because since the new bioses you can put a lower multi so i thought it might solve the problem.

did not try, but i think it is useless as dothan 400 is known to be fsb limited around 180...

it is due to the new core (c0) which can sustain high fsb, nothing else...

Do you have mobo, adapter & CPU?
They have some different network, audio and BIOS ROM chips at least.
-X have a 3 MB BIOS chip while SE have a 4 MB one.

I think you should try this new P4P800-X BIOS instead!!!
Someone have to try it out!
I mean, have we seen any Asus 865/875 BIOS updates lately that doesn't support the CT 479?

I really wish asus had not blocked 2 of the 478 mounting holes. But no worries, with the right tools, anything can be fixed.

So how do we mount a dangerden Maze 4 on a dothan?

well a Lathe + 3/8inch bar stock, a drill, tap and some filing gets us...

    This and from another angle

Next we Mount the left and right using a screw up from the bottom of the mobo.

Finally we put a Maze 4 in my case, or any block that uses that type of mount, as its basically a normal 478 socket mount

Atleast thats how I did it maybe some of you will find this useful
