    I'd like to see how you are mounting the Chilly block, since I have one. Any pics?

    I have tried, but it seems that the Dothan core is slightly higher than the P4 core, so there is a bit of a gap around the edges. I will still be using it when i mount the vapochill on though, is better than the bare core.

    Does anyone know how to get clockgen to work in ghost mode.
    I'm using P4P800SE motherboard.

    It freezes on me when I run it in ghost mode.
    I created a save.txt with the following lines:
    [CG-ICS952607]
    FSB=225
    AGP=66

    I'm able to set it manually in clockgen but when I use the save.txt file it freezes my system. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

    After a long satisfying benchnight I got to this:

    ~2750 seems to be the CPU max.

    Right here Im balancing my ~250max Mushkin LVL2 BH5 quite nicely.

    Oh, 7700 on the CPU, 40 load @ 1.6vcore, 3.5vdimm.

    From here on, its tweaks-only I guess

    Now running in diag mode + priority only.

    I'll get that 25sec!

    (Broke 27K in 3d01 with my dusty non-modded 9800Pro on air but it needs more work)

    Hey guys! I'm going to buy an dothan setup too But i must choose now between 2 boards: The P4P800SE and the P4GD1. Is the P4P800SE really a pain in the ass or not? I think the P4GD1 is the best choise but the P4P800SE is really cheap for me so... What board should I take ?

    My Rig:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6400

    MSI/Medion GeForce 6700XL (Cheap )
    Chieftec 360W (in search for someting better)

    Keep in mind p4gd1 has no pci locks above 220FSB, I'm also willing to got that route. Check this by Kamerat, many hints 'bout the p4gd1 http://home.no.net/comerade/pc/p4gd1.html

    He used pci-e freqs up to 225Mhz

    A new BIOS for Asus P4P800-X showed up yesterday.
    Can't find any info about CT-479 support though.

    If you can live without PAT the P4P800SE is just fine (You can have PAT up to 200FSB, but you need to boot at 201+FSB to get AGP/PCI locked).

    Besides PAT my earlier P4P800SE clocked equally good to the P4C800-E DLX I have now. Actually, it went all the way past 300FSB, which is more than my current board can.

    I sold my second hand almost new P4P800SE for the same price I gave for an older P4C800-E DLX. If you can find such a deal go for the P4C800-E DLX.

    This is how i mount a chipset block (made by eleven) to my dothan - p4c800-e deluxe mobo.
    Temps at 2800(rock stable) with 1,5vcore are 36 idle and 43 full load.

    Reffering to the p4gd1 mobo, what's the best DDR ram to pair with 915P chipset?

    I think BH-5 just because i915 can't hit very high FSB because of lack of PCI lock

    Btw, so the P4P800SE is fine with Dothan (740)? And the P4P800 suck don't they? I just want some confirm because i don't want to buy a bad motherboard

    Finally I am in the 40k club... thanks to the wonderful Dothan initiative from Intel, and the brilliant idea of the CT adapter from Asus.. My new 770 processor clocks real well, and my new OVERKLOKK modded prommie for the videocard really rocks....
    here are the clocks and the scores..
    btw; used EIST to increase mltpl, CG to increase fsb, 875/865 tweaker to tighten ram settings.. and of course two prommies modded by OVERKLOKK with R507...@-45 C

    This is just getting better and better...
