    Talking 1st DI run - photo-story - Socket A action :-)

    Hello

Some weeks ago I have made my first DI run . That wasn't even only my first run, but there has been second official (I mean posted on forums) Dry-Ice benching in Poland .
    I had 1700+ JIUHB, ABIT NF7, 2x256 MB BH-6 and Codegen 400W PFC PSU .

I made my container of 50 cm lenght, 54 mm (2') cooper tube and cooper plate - 60x80x10 mm .

I have drilled some holes in baseplate with 8mm diameter bit.

Brazing . I used bronze sticks and Acetylene-oxy torch .

    Container after cleaning.

Isulation was done, with neoprene - 9mm thick .

My rig . I was benching in a big hall .

I picked a ice cube out from the box, which I prepared in home...normal box with styrofoam .

    Breaking the block .

Pouring the ice and then acetone "pimp: .

I have thermomether for only -50*C ...so the scale ended fast, and then never went onto mensuration scope .

    OK...let's do some overclocking .. ...

    Ohh yeah I like my old 1700+ ...1466Mhz@ 3006 Mhz so 105 % o/c .

    Some SPI and Sandra 2003 screens @3006-3018 Mhz/2.20V .
Also new record SPI 16M in Poland on Socket A .. .

    Max suicide screen - 3214 mhz so 119% o/c ... not bad
My mobo was geting crazy with that vcore..I think it was too cold ...real vcore was still 2.20 V .

The lowest temperature I could seen on the measure soft ..

OK it's time to end this crazy play...

Some frost on mounting bolts .

    End of the party ..

Baking the NF7 ...ohh it was delicious .

    THE END

For next few weeks I plan next Socket A/Dry-Ice action ... this time on my friend's Barton 2500 +

    Best Regards
    Peter

Nice. Those are some nice clocks. Hopefully with the barton u might get even higher. Try bolting the board to a piece of wood for insulation. Go wood, insulation, then the mobo. Also, spray lacquer over the mobo to help prevent condensation.

Really nice clocks, especially for this kind of cpu ... Cool to see some "old" things at fast speeds.

    @piotres

I'm glad your DI run was very fruitful Looking forward to AXP or maybe even AXP-M action  I really want to see you ripping thru SPi16M @ 3.2GHz That would shake 16M ranking a bit

BTW, to XS. Glad to have you around!
