A nice big long strip of the handy man's secret weapon duct tape works better than seran wrap for sealing the lid. I bet the box starts sweating when the temp inside is -2.
Also, try using seal string or something like it as a sort of weather stripping before you put the duct tape strip on, it works quite well.
