Everything extra is bad!
Sweet motherboard!!! Arguable RAM slots position though, IMHO.
Hopefully some privileged members will have access to these babies anytime soon..
Really curious how will it perform!

Those RAM slots will be a pain for me, got a watercooling radiator mounted on the back fan mounts of my case. Good to see plenty of space between the PCI-E 16x slots though, and I wonder if we have 100% guarenteed working 5V Vdimm with this board after the enquiry around the NF4's.

I noticed that (the missing jumper) maybe it comes off the 5v line all the time, although from what Ive heard around here thats a very bad idea (yes I dont know that much, it shows), or maybe its all done in BIOS and switches at the correct point with no jumper movement required?

Even reference boards by ATi came with SATA II PCIe controllers...
Nice Nice.. Hope they have fixed all the bugs with vdimm and alland please tell me it will be in stores soon. Hate if this board will turn up as xpress gruper board aka lot of promises but no real action !!
Good job on the extra space between the main PCI-E slots. That will eliminate some temp issues some users are getting currently with their GFX sitting on top of the chipset hsf.
With tha RAM and CPU slots being jointly rotated anti-clockwise 90 degrees it means that only the RAM can really benefit from the lower PSU fan sucking away some hot air![]()

big ramchips on the graphics card may be out of the question though due to the vdimms being so close to the vidcard

also LGA775 with 2xPCI, note that the boards are ordered left-right new to old, or from PCI-E to AGP, and the 3rd one on the top row is the new nf3 s939 AGP

I'm betting they got rid of the 5v jumper because of the immense hassles.![]()
Hopefully they are using a better method, and not limiting our vdimm.![]()
